Online workshop: Use of therapeutic play in the intervention in child grief

PROGRAM:

• Grief in children, adolescents and young people. Evolutionary differences.
• Stages of mourning in second childhood (4 to 12 years). Usual responses.
• Therapeutic objectives in child grief.
• Play as a therapeutic tool in the treatment of child grief.
• Appropriate therapeutic play techniques for each age and stage of child grief.
• The role of the therapeutic game "Emotion bingo" in the treatment of child grief.
• The role of the therapeutic game "Planet of the Psimon" in the treatment of child grief.
• The role of the therapeutic game "CEM. Growing in Mindfulness" in the treatment of child grief.
• The role of the therapeutic game "Goodbye sadness" in the treatment of child grief.
• Combined application of the different therapeutic games to work each therapeutic objective.
• Presentation of practical real cases.

OBJECTIVES:

• Understand the grief process in children, adolescents and young people.
• Learn to use therapeutic play as a tool to deal with child grief.
• Acquire different techniques based on directed therapeutic play, to understand what kind of dynamics allows each therapeutic objective to work.
• Understand which therapeutic play technique is most adapted for each age, and at what point in therapy it can be applied.
• Learn to combine the therapeutic games "Goodbye sadness", "The planet of the Psimon" "The bingo of emotions" and "CEM. Growing in Mindfulness" in the treatment of child grief.
• Experiment different dynamics to acquire enough experience to be able to use the techniques learned in professional practice.
• Reflect through the analysis of practical real cases.
